VENUE

The venue of the conference is Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K), Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Currently IIITM-K has two campuses - one at Technopark and the new Campus at Technocity.
 
For the first three days  (December 18-20, 2019) the Conference will be held in the new Campus at Technocity, Pallippuram, Trivandrum. The workshop on Blockchain Technology will be held on December 21, 2019 at the Technopark Campus.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala, (IIITM-K) established in the year 2000, is an autonomous institution under Government of Kerala. IIITM-K's Mission is to be an institution of excellence in education, research, development, and training in basic and applied information technology and management and to be a leader in educational networking and service provider for higher education and professions. The different centres at IIITM-K are Kerala Blockchain Academy, Center for Data Science & Informatics, Centre for Research and Innovation in Cyber Threat Resilience (CRICTR), Centre for Geoinformatics, Center of Excellence in Pattern and Image Analysis (CEPIA), Virtual Resource Centre for Language Computing (VRCLC), Centre for Software Engineering Knowledge Centre for e-Governance and Ecological Informatics. The institute currently offers postgraduate courses in computer science with specializations in cybersecurity, data analytics, machine intelligence and geospatial analytics, two M.Phil programmes: Computer Science and Ecology Informatics and full-time Ph.D programmes in different research areas. It also offers a postgraduate diploma in e-governance. 32 Ph.D. students are doing full-time research in different centres. The institute receives huge funding for research and development every year from Government of Kerala and other funding agencies.  The institute has signed MoU with a few foreign universities for joint research and exchange programmes. IIITM-K has a strong association with several industries. The research scholars and postgraduate students are regularly undergoing training and internship in these industries.  Maker Village, the Electronics Incubator is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeitY), Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Kerala (IIITM K), Kerala Startup Mission and Govt. of Kerala to promote consumer electronics based innovation and set up labs and innovation centres. IIITM-K is serving as the nodal agency for this prestigious project to promote innovation in the electronics space and aims at providing seed funding for promising Startups.
