Grants to Increase in South Africa This Year
SASSA is responsible for providing financial assistance to millions of South Africans. These payments are provided to them based on their eligibility and requirements. There are many people who are completely dependent on government grants for their necessary expenses. With the rise in the costs of living and inflation, these people are struggling to cover the essential expenses such as food, power, rent, and healthcare.
According to the National Treasury, inflation in South Africa is expected to average around 5% in 2025. The increase in prices will provide beneficiaries with financial security and will reduce some burdens.
