The goal of computer vision is to make computers see the world around them. It has made incredible progress in the past decade. With the explosion of images and video on the web, dealing with the large amount of unorganized visual data available has become immensely challenging. Large search engines are being created to make sense of this data. The Internet has become an increasingly important tool for computer vision research. Computer vision has risen to prominence in the era of Industry 4.0, transforming several areas of the industrial process with its intelligent automation solutions. Video analytics which applies machine-learning algorithms to video feeds, allowing cameras to recognize people, objects, and situations automatically is used in IoT applications.
The 9th International Symposium on Computer Vision and the Internet (VisionNet’23) aims to bring together leading researchers to take stock of the state of the art, identify key challenges, and propose new directions. VisionNet’23 is co-affiliated with the Fifth International Conference on Computing and Network Communications (CoCoNet’23), December 18-20, 2023, Bangalore, India. All accepted papers of CoCoNet’23 main tracks and co-affiliated Symposiums will be published by Springer in Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (Scopus Indexed). The proceedings will be available via the SpringerLink digital library. The books of this series(proceedings) are submitted to ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, SCOPUS, MetaPress, Web of Science and Springerlink.
CoCoNet’23 will be held in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India on December 18-20, 2023. The conference is organized by the PES University, Bengaluru (also called Bangalore).
