Call for Lightning Talks

CoCoNet'20 (http://coconet-conference.org/2020/) will feature a few lightning talks -TEN-minute talks presented sequentially without interruption. The point of a lightning talk is not to give a detailed talk but rather to present briefly the main point. The topics acceptable for talks are any subject that is conference related. The Lightning Talk sessions will likely take place on the 14th (Wednesday) or 16th (Friday) of October. The Conference is using Zoom Video Conferencing App for conducting all presentations.

Lightning Talk proposals can be submitted only through the online submission form and must be received by September 30, 2020. By submitting an abstract, the presenting author is indicating that they will be available during any of the possible time slots.

Click the link to submit your Proposal: https://rb.gy/mszcfl

Please also indicate in your proposal if you anticipate requesting a few extra minutes to cover your topic. Presentation slots are limited, but we’ll try to accommodate as many proposals as we can. There is only one presenter permitted for each Lightning Talk presentation due to time constraints. Speakers must be present at the start of the session or their slot is forfeited to the next speaker signed up. You will be asked to stop at the end of 10 minutes.

The talks will be selected by the committee and announced on this page before the 5th of October. There is no separate registration fee for registered authors/attendees and TPC members of CoCoNet'20 and ACN'20 to conduct a lightning talk. Authors of CoCoNet'19/ACN'19 are also  offered free registration. A certificate of presentation will be issued to the Speakers (only e-certificates).
